To anyone who hasn't seen it, I definitely recommend it.

It hasn't gotten all the attention it deserves, and it is a 2010 Korean war drama film directed by: Lee Jae-Han.
The film was made in commemoration of those who fought during the Korean war, to raise awareness of the existence and importance of the student-soldiers during that period.

The student ages ranged from 17 to even 12/13, a majority were high schoolers/middle schoolers who never held a gun, and they managed to hold off the North Korean soldiers for 11 hours in a girls' middle school building! And it originally was supposed to be 2 hours!

Only 23 out of the 71 survived.

The movie was inspired by letters found from a student-soldier who wrote letters to his mother during the war but he didn't get to send them.

Without those student-soldiers, who knows what would've been the outcome.

They were what caused the turning point in the Korean war.

I'm gonna do some fanart as tribute to the student-soldiers.
